We’re seeking a hands-on, detail-oriented professional to lead day-to-day finance, accounting, and administrative operations for the U.S. subsidiary of an international manufacturing and technology company. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a collaborative small-office environment, enjoys balancing strategic financial coordination with day-to-day accounting responsibilities, and can confidently work across teams in both the U.S. and Japan.Responsibilities:Manage daily finance and accounting operations, including billing, accounts receivable, collections, invoicing, and bookkeeping in QuickBooksSupport monthly and year-end close processes in coordination with external accounting firmsReview financial statements, analyze variances, and report financial insights to corporate leadershipCoordinate Sales Tax compliance, business registrations, and transfer pricing documentation with external advisorsAssist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activitiesIdentify process improvements and support the development of company policies and operational controlsMaintain accurate financial records and ensure audit readinessSupport office administration functions, vendor coordination, facility operations, and corporate documentation as neededCollaborate with U.S. and Japan-based teams to support cross-functional business operations and financial alignmentQualificationsBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field required5–10 years of accounting and finance experience, preferably within multinational, trading, or manufacturing environmentsStrong hands-on experience using QuickBooks for daily accounting operationsProven ability to independently manage monthly closing preparation and financial data coordinationNative-level Japanese fluency (written and verbal) with professional English communication skillsDeep understanding of Japanese business culture and communication practices for effective collaboration with headquarters in JapanAdvanced Microsoft Excel skills, including complex formulas, reporting, and data trackingFlexible, hands-on professional willing to support accounting, administrative, and general office functions as neededComfortable working in a collaborative small-office environment with a team-oriented mindsetStable work history demonstrating reliability, long-term commitment, and professional growthWhy This Opportunity?
