Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments of clients' mental health and substance use histories to develop individualized treatment strategies.

• Facilitate engaging individual therapy sessions using a variety of evidence-based modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Motivational Interviewing.

• Set therapeutic goals with clients and closely monitor their progress, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans based on ongoing assessments.

• Offer teletherapy services to ensure accessibility and provide support to clients who may experience barriers to traditional in-person sessions.

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client interactions, treatment plans, and progress notes, complying with ethical standards and regulatory requirements.

• Participate in regular supervision and professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices and enhance your therapeutic skills.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with individuals grappling with mental health issues and substance use disorders, ranging from anxiety and depression to PTSD and various addiction challenges. Our detox center focuses on providing compassionate and individualized care to promote healing and recovery, fostering an environment in which patients feel safe to discuss their experiences and emotions.

Qualifications\n

• A current and valid state license such as LMFT, LPC, LCSW, or PsyD.

• A Master’s degree or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.

• Exceptional communication skills and the ability to establish rapport with clients while maintaining professional boundaries.

• Empathetic and compassionate disposition with a non-judgmental approach towards therapy.

• Strong organizational skills and efficient time management capabilities to handle a varied caseload effectively.

Preferred Experience\n

• Previous experience working in a detox or substance use treatment setting is highly preferred.
