Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Therapist, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive evaluations and assessments to identify client needs and establish treatment goals.

• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to monitor client outcomes and adjust treatment plans accordingly.

• Providing ongoing support to families involved in therapy, helping them understand the therapeutic process and actively participate in their child’s development.

• Utilizing evidence-based practices to develop individualized treatment plans that align with clients' unique needs and promote healthy coping strategies.

• Building rapport with clients, families, and team members to create a supportive and nurturing environment.

• Delivering family education and skill-building sessions to empower families and enhance the overall treatment experience.

• Utilizing coaching methodologies and natural environment teaching approaches to maximize therapeutic impact.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will primarily focus on children, adolescents, and their families who are experiencing various mental health challenges including anxiety, depression, behavioral issues, and substance use disorders. Your role will be crucial in helping these clients achieve positive outcomes by providing them with tailored support and interventions that align with their recovery goals.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology is required.

• Must possess current licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in the state of California.
\n
• At least two years of professional experience in a clinical setting is necessary.
\n
• Currently hold, or be in the process of obtaining, Associate or Licensed status with the Board of Behavioral Sciences.

• Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to maintain accurate documentation of client sessions and billing hours.

• A self-motivated individual with a proactive approach to client care and engagement.
\n

Experience working with diverse populations, particularly children and families experiencing mental health issues, is highly valued. Familiarity with telehealth tools and remote therapy practices will enhance your ability to connect with clients effectively in a virtual setting.
