This full-time, remote position will allow you to deliver high-quality mental health care from the comfort of your home while being part of an integrated outpatient psychiatric practice.

Work Environment\n

This role is designed for a remote work environment, allowing for increased flexibility in managing your work-life balance. However, the position is closely integrated with our outpatient facility where collaborative team meetings and professional development sessions take place. The standard work schedule is Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility as needed to meet the needs of our patients.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to evaluate the needs of patients and inform personalized treatment plans.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy, to effectively address individual and group treatment needs.

• Run psychoeducational and support groups aimed at fostering peer support and community among individuals facing mental health challenges.

• Collaborate routinely with psychiatrists and other health professionals to craft holistic patient care strategies.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention and supportive services during critical mental health emergencies.

• Educate patients about their mental health conditions, available treatments, and community resources for additional support.

• Maintain precise and confidential patient documentation, adhering to legal and ethical standards in practice.

• Participate in case consultations and regular team meetings to foster a collaborative treatment approach.

• Continuously engage with ongoing professional development and training to stay current with mental health research and treatment advancements.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our practice serves a diverse patient population facing a variety of mental health challenges, including but not limited to depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, and substance abuse. Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid state licensure as an LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT.
\n
• Strong foundation in mental health theories, treatment modalities, and ethical practices.
\n
• Demonstrated ability in conducting comprehensive assessments and crafting effective treatment plans.

• Experience with delivering both individual and group therapy sessions, especially to varied demographics.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients and collaborate with team members.

• Commitment to maintaining professional boundaries and ethical integrity in all client interactions.

• Proficiency with electronic health record systems and familiarity with relevant health technology tools.

Preferred Experience\n

• Minimum of two years of clinical experience in a similar mental health counseling role.
