This role is primarily remote, allowing for a seamless balance between your professional and personal life. You'll be part of a collaborative team that supports each other while working during standard business hours, Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Queens Cove, your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients’ mood disorder symptoms, including their severity, frequency, and duration.

• Collaborating with each client to create personalized treatment plans aimed at fulfilling their specific needs, goals, and preferences.
\n
• Utilizing evidence-based therapies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to deliver effective treatment and support.
\n
• Providing education to clients and their families regarding mood disorders, available treatment options, and essential self-care strategies.
\n
• Monitoring client progress meticulously throughout treatment, adjusting therapeutic approaches as needed to ensure effectiveness.

• Working closely with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to coordinate integrated, holistic care for our clients.

• Staying current with the latest research and developments in mood disorder treatment to enhance therapeutic effectiveness.

• Maintaining thorough and confidential documentation of each client interaction, assessment, and treatment plan in adherence to legal and ethical standards.

• Participating in team meetings and professional development activities to continuously improve clinical skills and knowledge.

• Acting as an advocate for clients by promoting mental health initiatives and reducing the stigma associated with mood disorders.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will primarily work with individuals facing mood disorders, including but not limited to depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety-related disorders. Your empathetic and evidence-based approach will be critical in helping these individuals navigate their challenges and achieve their personal treatment goals.

Qualifications\n

To be considered for this position, candidates must possess:

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT within the state of New Jersey.

• Extensive knowledge of and experience with evidence-based treatment modalities, particularly for mood disorders.
