Work Environment\n

This position offers the flexibility of a remote work environment, enabling you to connect with clients through a secure telehealth platform while maintaining a healthy work-life balance. Our usual working hours are Monday to Friday, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional evening shifts required to accommodate our patients' needs. Some flexibility in scheduling is essential to provide timely support and care.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments to evaluate psychological well-being, utilizing standardized tools and interview techniques to formulate accurate diagnoses.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs, ensuring that therapeutic goals are measurable and achievable.

• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions across a variety of modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and psychodynamic therapy.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, focusing on emotional resilience, coping strategies, and personal growth.
\n
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, primary care providers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure a comprehensive approach to client care.

• Engage in crisis intervention activities, providing immediate support during mental health emergencies, and create safety plans in collaboration with clients.

• Educate clients and their families about mental health conditions and treatment options while connecting them to community resources.
\n
• Maintain accurate, confidential client records in compliance with HIPAA regulations and organizational policies.
\n
• Participate in regular case conferences and team meetings to discuss patient progress, share insights, and enhance treatment approaches.

• Stay informed about the latest research and best practices in mental health therapy to continuously refine your clinical skills.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work with a diverse clientele, including adults and adolescents facing a range of mental health challenges. Your role will involve tailoring your therapeutic approach to meet the unique needs of each individual, ensuring that cultural competency and sensitivity to diverse backgrounds are prioritized in every interaction.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid professional license (LCSW, LPC, LMFT, or PsyD) in New Jersey.
\n
• Strong theoretical understanding and practical application of mental health disorders and evidence-based treatment modalities.

• Excellent interpersonal skills with a proven ability to establish rapport and therapeutic relationships with clients.

• Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems and familiarity with teletherapy technology.

• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively as a part of an interdisciplinary team while upholding ethical standards.

Preferred Experience\n

• Two or more years of post-licensure clinical experience in a therapeutic setting, ideally within an outpatient environment.

• Experience in group therapy facilitation and training in trauma-informed care practices.

Compensation and Benefits\n
