This role is predominantly remote, allowing for flexibility while still maintaining essential connections with a team of dedicated professionals. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments to understand client needs, utilizing a variety of diagnostic tools and interview techniques.

• Develop personalized treatment plans employing evidence-based practices and addressing the individual needs of each client through modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT).

• Maintain accurate and confidential clinical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations to ensure client privacy and proper case management.

• Engage in regular case consultations with interdisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists and psychologists, to enhance clinical outcomes and treatment approaches.

• Proactively educate clients and their families about mental health conditions and available treatment resources, equipping them with the knowledge needed to facilitate their recovery journey.

• Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay current with advancements in mental health care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will work with a diverse clientele, including individuals from various age groups facing a range of mental health challenges. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution.

• Possess an active license to practice as an LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT in the state of New York.

• Demonstrated expertise in solution-based psychotherapeutic techniques, enabling effective and personalized treatment plans.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for building strong therapeutic alliances with clients.

• Strong problem-solving abilities and critical thinking skills to adeptly navigate complex client situations.

• An aptitude for collaborative work within a multidisciplinary team setting.

Preferred Experience\n

While a minimum of two years of experience in a mental health counseling role is required, candidates with additional specialized training in trauma-informed care, crisis intervention, or similar areas will be given preference. Experience in an outpatient clinical setting is also beneficial.
