Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments of patients referred by physicians, developing personalized treatment plans that take individual needs and medical histories into account.
• Implement treatment programs utilizing advanced therapeutic techniques and modalities to address diverse patient conditions, including orthopedic injuries, pediatric therapies, neurological disorders, and sports-related rehabilitation.
• Provide high-quality, purposeful care that promotes patient progress in alignment with the physician's plan of care, ensuring that all interventions are evidence-based.
• Deliver exceptional customer service by maintaining strong communication with patients and their families, educating them about care plans, and training caregivers as needed.
• Collaboratively work with a multidisciplinary team to maximize patient outcomes through shared insights and coordinated care approaches.
• Support organizational goals by achieving minimum utilization targets while providing high-quality rehabilitation services.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The patients at Spindletop range widely in age, ability, and backgrounds. You will have the opportunity to work with a diverse clientele, addressing physical therapy needs from postoperative recovery to chronic pain management, and from sports injuries to pediatric developmental challenges. Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required.
• A valid state license in Physical Therapy is essential for practice.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association is mandatory.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills are necessary for effective patient interaction.
• Proficient computer and word processing skills to efficiently document patient progress and treatment data.
• A genuine desire to build strong, supportive relationships with patients and their families to achieve their rehabilitation goals.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of professional experience in a physical therapy setting is preferred.
• Experience treating a broad range of specialties including orthopedic, pediatric, and neurologic patients.
• Proficiency in applying advanced rehabilitation techniques and assessing patient progress.

Compensation and Benefits
