Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients referred by physicians, utilizing appropriate assessment tools and techniques to diagnose movement dysfunctions effectively.
• Design and implement individualized treatment plans, employing evidence-based practices and adjusting these plans based on ongoing assessments and patient feedback.
• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to enhance patient outcomes, engage in case discussions, and share insights on treatment approaches.
• Deliver high-quality therapeutic care, applying specialized techniques in orthopedic, pediatric, neurologic, and sports medicine contexts to cater to an array of patient needs.
• Educate patients and their families on treatment plans and provide training on exercises, injury prevention strategies, and recovery techniques to foster independence.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress, treatment modifications, and discharge planning in accordance with regulatory standards.
• Participate in ongoing professional development through workshops, seminars, and in-house training sessions to stay current with industry advancements.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The ideal candidate will engage with a wide range of patient populations presenting varied therapeutic needs, including orthopedic injuries, pediatric cases, neurological disorders, and sports-related conditions. You will be essential in helping patients navigate their recovery and rehabilitation processes, emphasizing holistic and patient-centered strategies that ensure optimal functional outcomes.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• A valid state license to practice as a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) as per the Physical Therapy Examining Committee's requirements.
• A minimum of two (2) years of clinical experience in a physical therapy setting.
• Current CPR certification to ensure patient safety during treatment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively convey information to patients, caregivers, and colleagues.
• Proficiency in word processing and electronic documentation systems relevant to the practice.
• Ability to build and maintain strong therapeutic relationships, demonstrating empathy and motivation to help patients achieve their functional goals.

Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, candidates with prior experience in a rehabilitation setting, familiarity with evidence-based practice, and specialties in manual therapy techniques, sports rehabilitation, or pediatric therapy will be prioritized. Additionally, an understanding of electronic health records (EHR) systems is advantageous to ensure efficient documentation processes.

Compensation and Benefits

This Full-Time Physical Therapist position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
