Work Environment

This position is strictly onsite, allowing you to collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team dedicated to optimizing patient care. You will work in a state-of-the-art rehabilitation center, equipped with advanced therapeutic technologies and tools. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients with various impairments and functional limitations, using assessment tools to guide treatment decision-making.

• Develop, implement, and adjust personalized treatment plans in collaboration with physicians and other healthcare professionals, ensuring a holistic approach to patient care.

• Document assessments, treatment progress, and discharge summaries using professional nomenclature to maintain accurate patient records and justify therapeutic necessity.

• Supervise and mentor Physical Therapy Assistants (PTAs) and support personnel in delivering care, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and quality standards.

• Engage in interprofessional communication with physicians, occupational and speech therapists, and nursing staff to enhance treatment outcomes.

• Evaluate the effectiveness of therapeutic interventions and contribute to quality improvement initiatives within the department.

• Provide feedback and constructive solutions to clinic leadership regarding operational efficiency and fostering a supportive learning environment.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with diverse patient populations, including individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, neurological disorders, sports injuries, and general physical impairments. Our approach emphasizes personalized care and considers the specific needs, background, and goals of each patient, allowing you to make a significant difference in their rehabilitation journey.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited university.

• Current physical therapy license in the state of Virginia.

• Strong communication skills, both oral and written, to articulate treatment plans and collaborate effectively with team members.

• Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) and basic computer skills required for documentation and reporting.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of two years of experience working in a physical therapy setting is preferred, providing a robust foundation in evidence-based practice.

• Experience in a rehabilitation or outpatient setting is highly desirable.

Compensation and Benefits

Guided Grace Therapy Center offers a competitive salary range of USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
