Work Environment

This full-time position operates on-site at our rehabilitation center, fostering a close-knit environment where innovation and patient care go hand-in-hand. Your work schedule will be Monday to Friday from 9 am to 5 pm, allowing for a balanced work-life routine. Key Responsibilities

The role of the Physical Therapist includes a variety of important responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough assessments to recognize and fulfill the unique objectives and requirements of each patient during one-on-one sessions.
• Maintain a dedicated patient load of one individual per hour, ensuring ample time for comprehensive treatment and personalized care.
• Develop and administer cost-effective therapeutic strategies that enhance patients' range of motion and mobility.
• Minimize reliance on medications by proposing innovative non-surgical treatment alternatives, encompassing both physical therapy and wellness strategies.
• Formulate comprehensive and holistic treatment plans that integrate various therapeutic techniques tailored to each patient's condition.
• Design individualized fitness and rehabilitation programs that cater to the specific needs and capabilities of each client.
• Motivate and encourage patients throughout their rehabilitation journey to help them optimize function and return to their daily activities.
• Collaborate closely with other healthcare professionals such as physicians and occupational therapists to ensure coordinated care for patients.
• Monitor and evaluate patient progress diligently, adjusting treatment plans as necessary based on measurable outcomes.
• Maintain accurate documentation and therapeutic records in compliance with state regulations and organizational policies.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our primary focus is on individuals with private medical insurance, including athletes and active adults seeking recovery from sports-related injuries and orthopedic surgeries. We aim to cater to a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions, with a goal of facilitating swift recovery and promoting long-term health and wellness.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate for this position must meet the following qualifications:

• Hold a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• Possess a current Physical Therapist license in the state of Virginia, free from any disciplinary actions.
• Demonstrate proficiency in manual therapy techniques and effectively implement exercise programs designed for orthopedic patients.
• Exhibit competence in utilizing Electronic Medical Record software, specifically WebPT, to maintain patient documentation.

Preferred Experience

We are particularly interested in candidates who have previous experience working in orthopedic outpatient settings, understanding the specific challenges and treatments relevant to that environment. Prior experience with sports medicine rehabilitation is also desirable.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for this full-time Physical Therapist role ranges from USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience. Additionally, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, which includes:
