Accounts Payable Clerk

MagTech is currently hiring for an Accounts Payable Clerk for a fast paced transportation company in the Tampa, FL area. Please apply below if you are interested and meet the qualifications.

Responsibilities :
- Enter received vendor invoices accurately and timely, ensuring all necessary documentation and approvals are obtained in accordance with Department and Corporate procedures.
- Process a large quantity of invoices from multiple vendors daily
- Ensure timely payment of outstanding vendor invoices.
- Perform research and reconciliation of vendor statements.
- Initiate contact with internal and external parties, as needed, for supporting documents or missing information.
- Meet accounting deadlines for month-end process and closing cycles.
- Perform other related duties or special projects, as assigned.
- 5 years Accounts Payable experience
- Must be used to high transaction and fast paced environment
- Knowledge of QuickBooks recommended
- Demonstrate intermediate to advanced skills and knowledge of Excel, as well as other Microsoft Office applications
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate effectively across the organization
- Highly detail-oriented
- Ability to meet deadlines
- Ability to work in a team environment
