Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations for clients, developing individualized therapy strategies tailored to their specific needs.

• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic modalities to individuals, couples, families, and groups, utilizing techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused therapy.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive client care, sharing insights and strategies that bolster client progress.

• Maintain accurate and compliant clinical records, upholding professional ethical standards and regulations as mandated by state and federal law.

• Participate in ongoing professional development through workshops and training opportunities to stay current with developments in mental health research and best practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on supporting individuals and families who may have had limited access to mental health care previously. This includes working with clients facing a wide array of challenges, such as anxiety, depression, trauma, substance use disorders, and relationship issues. Your effective intervention will be vital in fostering resilience and providing hope to those you serve.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.

• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of New Jersey.

• A minimum of two years of counseling experience, preferably within a clinical context.

• Strong foundational knowledge of ethical and legal standards governing clinical practice.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, enabling you to build rapport and trust with a wide range of clientele.

Compensation and Benefits\n
