This role is designed to be fully remote, providing you with the flexibility to balance work and personal commitments while making a significant impact on our patients’ lives. Our working hours are Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, although some evening shifts may be necessary based on the needs of our patients. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate the needs and goals of individuals seeking treatment for substance use disorders, utilizing a comprehensive approach to gather critical information.

• Design and implement individualized treatment plans based on evidence-based therapeutic interventions tailored to each patient’s unique circumstances.

• Facilitate individual counseling sessions, employing motivational interviewing techniques and cognitive-behavioral therapy strategies to engage clients effectively.

• Organize and lead group therapy sessions that provide clients with the opportunity to share experiences, build connections, and support each other in recovery.

• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists, addiction specialists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure a coordinated approach to each patient’s care.

• Respond to substance-related crises with appropriate intervention strategies, providing support during emergencies to ensure patient safety.

• Educate patients and their families on addiction, available recovery strategies, and local community resources to empower them in their recovery journey.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation in compliance with relevant regulations, ensuring ethical guidelines are upheld at all times.

• Actively engage in professional development activities and stay current with the latest research and best practices in the field of substance use disorder treatment.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role primarily focuses on individuals dealing with substance use disorders, offering support through their recovery journeys. You will work with a diverse patient population, including adults seeking help for various levels of addiction, which requires a compassionate, non-judgmental approach to counseling and therapy.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in Arizona.
\n
• A strong understanding of substance use disorders and evidence-based recovery-oriented treatment methodologies.
\n
• Experience providing both individual and group therapy services in addiction treatment contexts.
\n
• Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
\n
• Commitment to maintaining professional boundaries and ensuring the confidentiality of patient information in compliance with ethical standards.

• Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and relevant computer applications.
\n
• Ability to collaborate effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Preferred Experience\n

• At least two years of direct experience in mental health counseling with a specific focus on substance use disorders.

• Prior experience in a community health clinic setting is highly desirable.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary range for this position is between USD 70,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
