As a Patrol Unarmed Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service to patients, visitors, and staff. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $20.00 / Hour Job Schedule: Wed: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM Thur: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM Sun: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities in a healthcare setting. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established hospital protocols and reporting requirements. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout assigned buildings, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns. Assist with access control by monitoring entry points, verifying credentials as required, and directing visitors in accordance with site-specific procedures. Document observations, incidents, and patrol activities accurately and promptly, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and appropriate personnel. Minimum Requirements: Be fluent in speaking, reading, and writing Spanish. Have at least 6 months of security-related experience. Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred. Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred. A guard card or license is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
