• Evaluate results for precision, troubleshoot discrepancies, and undertake preventative maintenance and calibration on laboratory equipment.
• Assist with specimen collection and prepare samples for testing whenever necessary.
• Meticulously document all procedures, provide training for new team members or students, and maintain lab quality standards.
• Ensure a sanitized, safe work environment, fully adhering to regulatory and accreditation standards.

Qualifications

• Possession of a Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or an equivalent qualification in allied health, along with preparation for ASCP/AMT certification.

Licenses and Certifications

• Acquiring ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) within a year of starting the position.
• Maintaining current certification throughout your employment period.
