Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients' physical limitations and needs in a rehabilitation setting.
• Develop personalized treatment plans based on thorough assessments and to meet specific therapeutic goals.
• Implement a variety of therapeutic techniques, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and the use of specialized equipment to manage pain and enhance mobility.
• Monitor and document patient progress meticulously, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans based on ongoing assessments.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers on effective physical therapy techniques and the use of assistive devices to ensure continuity of care outside the therapy sessions.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to devise holistic care strategies that align with patients' health objectives.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will engage with a diverse patient demographic, encompassing individuals of all ages undergoing rehabilitation from various conditions, including post-surgery recovery, chronic pain management, and rehabilitative care from injuries. Your commitment to each patient's unique journey will help them regain functionality and improve their quality of life.

Qualifications

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• Active state license to practice Physical Therapy in New Jersey.
• A minimum of two years of clinical experience in a rehabilitation setting or home care environment.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with patients and team members.
• Proficient in document management systems and electronic health records.
• Demonstrated flexibility in work practices and adaptability to a variety of patient scenarios.

Preferred Experience
