Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist at Enigma Movement Physical Therapy, you will:

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients recovering from injuries, surgeries, or chronic conditions within the rehabilitation setting.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient assessments, leveraging a variety of therapeutic techniques including exercise, manual therapy, and modalities to reduce pain and improve mobility.
• Monitor patient progress, document treatment outcomes, and make necessary adjustments to therapy plans to ensure optimal results.
• Educate patients and their families about treatment protocols, home exercise programs, and the appropriate use of assistive devices to foster independence and promote recovery.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care, participating in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient progress and modifications to treatment protocols.
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in physical therapy practices by attending workshops, participating in professional development activities, and being an active member of relevant professional organizations.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with a diverse range of patients, from pediatric to geriatric populations, including individuals with orthopedic injuries, neurological conditions, post-surgical recovery needs, and those requiring rehabilitative support after accidents. Your ability to customize treatment plans will directly impact the recovery journey of each patient, allowing them to achieve their maximum potential.

Qualifications

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• Active and valid state license to practice physical therapy.
• A minimum of two years of professional experience in a physical therapy setting.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively interact with patients and their families.
• Proficient computer skills, with the ability to document patient information and treatment plans accurately.
