Key Responsibilities\n

Your day-to-day tasks will include:

• Providing individual and group therapy sessions, as well as family counseling to clients adhering to DSM V diagnostic criteria.

• Developing and facilitating psycho-educational groups and parenting classes that enhance support systems for our clients.

• Completing comprehensive client documentation, including case materials, program forms, and statistical data, to ensure accurate records and compliance with quality standards.

• Timely charting and reporting necessary client information to ensure adherence to organizational guidelines and funder expectations.
\n
• Meeting contractual obligations by billing a specified number of reimbursable hours weekly, contributing to the sustainability and growth of our clinic.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Mental Health Counselor at our clinic, you will primarily work with children and community clients, addressing a spectrum of mental health challenges. Your role will focus on fostering emotional resilience, enhancing coping strategies, and improving overall psychological health among a demographic that often requires tailored support and understanding.

Qualifications\n

To succeed in this role, candidates must meet the following qualifications:

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related discipline.

• A valid state license as LMFT, LPC, or LCSW is required to practice.

• Self-motivated with the ability to initiate actions related to billing and client documentation promptly.

Preferred Experience\n

A minimum of 2 years of clinical practice in a mental health setting is essential. Experience in telehealth counseling can be a significant advantage, considering our virtual work arrangement. Compensation and Benefits\n
