Key Responsibilities\n

• Act as the primary point of contact for families, ensuring proactive communication and support throughout the therapeutic process.

• Facilitate individual, family, and group therapy sessions utilizing our clinical model, specifically focusing on Attachment-Based Family Therapy to address the unique needs of clients.

• Conduct Family Orientations and Welcome Presentations to engage families in the treatment journey.

• Lead Family Support Groups that empower families to navigate their challenges collectively.
\n
• Maintain timely and accurate documentation including assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes, adhering to established standards.

• Efficiently manage your schedule to meet the needs of your clients while attending weekly treatment team meetings and clinical supervision.

• Represent Momenta Psychotherapy Services at relevant meetings, trainings, and conferences, contributing to our commitment to excellence.

• Utilize various tools and systems, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word and Outlook) and EMR systems, to document client interactions and therapeutic progress accurately.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The clients you will serve primarily consist of adolescents and young adults experiencing a range of mental health challenges including anxiety, depression, trauma, and family dynamics issues. Your role will center on providing compassionate care that helps these clients cultivate resilience, improve relationships, and develop coping strategies for a healthier future.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s Degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or a related field from an accredited or state-approved graduate program.

• A current license as a Board Registered Associate (e.g., APCC, LAPC, ASW, AMFT) or a Psychologic Associate in the state of Virginia or the state where services will be provided.

• Demonstrable experience in providing therapy to individuals, families, and groups with a focus on adolescents and young adults.

Compensation and Benefits\n
