Life Point Physical Therapy is seeking a dedicated and skilled Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our team in Miami, Florida. Our practice prides itself on delivering exceptional patient care in a state-of-the-art 5,000 square foot sports medicine environment. Our team comprises experienced Physical Therapists and a Physical Therapist Assistant, working collaboratively to support our patients' rehabilitation journeys. We focus on providing individualized treatment plans that align with patients' specific goals and medical backgrounds.

Work Environment

The role is an onsite position within our fully equipped rehabilitation facility that fosters a collaborative and supportive atmosphere. You will work Monday through Friday, from 9 am to 5 pm, allowing for a consistent schedule that promotes work-life balance. Our clinic is designed to create a comfortable environment for patients, featuring advanced equipment and dedicated therapy rooms for personalized care.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth evaluations to accurately assess patients' physical capabilities and therapeutic needs.
• Design and implement individualized treatment plans that integrate various evidence-based therapy techniques for optimal patient outcomes.
• Manage a patient caseload, providing one-on-one therapy sessions at a rate of one patient per hour.
• Apply hands-on techniques including manual therapy to improve patients' range of motion and reduce pain.
• Utilize cutting-edge therapy equipment and methodologies to enhance mobility and functionality in patients.
• Document all treatment sessions thoroughly using our WebPT EMR Software, ensuring clear communication among team members and maintaining accurate patient records.
• Educate patients on exercise techniques, self-management, and lifestyle adaptations to enhance recovery.
• Monitor patient progress, evaluate treatment effectiveness, and adjust care plans as necessary to meet individual goals.
• Encourage adherence to rehabilitation protocols and promote a healthy lifestyle among patients through ongoing motivation.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and consult with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

At Life Point Physical Therapy, our primary patient population consists of individuals with orthopedic conditions, including sports injuries, post-surgical rehabilitation, chronic pain, and more. We serve primarily patients with private medical insurance, focusing on delivering personalized care that addresses their unique circumstances while striving to reduce reliance on medications and explore non-surgical options.

Qualifications

• Possession of a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• A valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist in Florida.
• A clean professional record, free from any disciplinary actions by the licensing board.
• Proficiency in manual therapy techniques and the ability to develop and execute effective exercise protocols tailored to individual patients.
• Strong understanding of evidence-based practices to enhance therapeutic modalities.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with using WebPT EMR Software for documentation and patient management.
• Demonstrated success in creating patient-centered care plans that promote recovery and functional independence.

Compensation and Benefits

Life Point Physical Therapy offers an attractive salary range of USD 100,000 – 120,000 per year, commensurate with qualifications and experience.
