Company Description Specialized Roofing Company, Inc., established in 1990, is a commercial and industrial roofing contractor. We are seeking a highly organized Office Manager/Bookkeeper for our small Commercial Construction Company. This vital role combines administrative excellence with financial oversight, ensuring smooth office operations and accurate bookkeeping. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-orientated, and possess excellent communications skills. In this role, you will manage daily office functions, handle Payroll and HR duties, coordinate administrative tasks, handle bookkeeping responsibilities using QuickBooks, and provide exceptional customer service. Your energy and organizational skills will help create an efficient, welcoming environment that supports our team's success and growth. Responsibilities Payroll/HR Duties Oversee daily office operations. Manage phone system, answer inquiries with friendly phone etiquette, and direct calls appropriately. Perform bookkeeping duties using QuickBooks, including data entry, invoicing and bank reconciliations. Maintain accurate filing systems both digital (SharePoint, Microsoft Office) and physical, to insure easy retrieval of documents. Provide exceptional customer support by addressing client questions promptly and professionally. Assist with clerical tasks such as proofreading documents, preparing correspondence and managing office supplies. Experience Proven office management experience with strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Experience in administrative duties requiring data entry, filing, supporting office staff and customer service excellence.
