Job Description Represent employers, insurance carriers, and other clients in workers' compensation defense matters. Manage a litigation caseload from inception through resolution. Attend depositions, hearings, mediations, and settlement conferences. Draft pleadings, motions, legal correspondence, and case evaluations. Develop litigation strategies that achieve efficient and favorable outcomes. Communicate regularly with clients regarding case status and recommendations. Conduct legal research and remain current on California workers' compensation laws. Collaborate with attorneys and legal support staff to provide exceptional client service. Qualifications Active California Bar license. 1+ year of workers' compensation law experience. Strong litigation, analytical, legal writing, and communication skills. Ability to independently manage a caseload. California residency required. Workers' compensation defense experience is highly preferred.
