This position serves as the first point of contact for customers, providing administrative support to store operations while assisting with various office functions. The Customer Service Representative plays a vital role in building customer relationships and supports the operational excellence that drives Ashley's retail success. \n What   You’ll   Do \n \n Front Desk & Customer Service : Greet all customers in a warm, professional manner representing Ashley's brand image. Provide exceptional customer service through all interactions including in-person, phone, and email communications. \n \n \n Sales Order Support:  Assist with processing sales orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring all required documentation is complete, and proper approvals are obtained before finalizing transactions. \n \n \n Customer Account Management:  Process customer credit applications, assist with financing arrangements, and maintain accurate customer account information in retail management systems. \n \n \n Cash Handling & Financial Procedures : Follow established cash handling procedures, process payments accurately, and reconcile transactions according to company policies under Office Manager supervision. \n \n \n Customer Issue Resolution:  Address customer inquiries and concerns professionally, escalating complex issues to Management as appropriate while following up to ensure resolution. \n \n \n Audit & Compliance Assistance : Support Management with operational audits, inventory processes, and compliance checks by gathering required documentation and verifying accuracy of paperwork. \n \n \n Reporting & Documentation:  Maintain accurate records, prepare routine reports, and ensure all sales and office paperwork is properly completed and filed according to company standards. \n \n \n Team Collaboration:  Work cooperatively with sales team, merchandising personnel, and other store associates to ensure seamless customer experience and efficient store operations. \n \n \n Technology & Systems:  Utilize point-of-sale systems, retail management software, Microsoft Office Suite, and other business tools to perform job duties efficiently and accurately. \n \n \n Complete any additional tasks as assigned by management \n \n What You Bring \n \n Legally authorized to work in the US. \n \n \n At least 18 years old \n \n \n High school diploma or equivalent \n \n \n Knowledgeable Microsoft Office Suite and system transactions \n \n \n 1 year of customer service, office, and/or administrative experience, preferred \n \n \n Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays; including rotation for store opening and closing responsibilities–various shifts \n \n \n Maintain reliable attendance \n \n \n Thrive in a team environment \n \n What’s In It for You: \n When you join us, you are eligible to participate in our comprehensive benefits programs, which include: \n \n Extended health, dental benefits, and vision insurance \n \n \n Employee Discount from 10% - 30% \n \n \n Life/Disability Insurance \n \n \n Flex Spending Account \n \n \n 401K \n \n \n Paid Time off \n \n \n Compensation:  This position pays an hourly rate of $16.00-$19.00. \n Benefits:  When you join our family, you are eligible to participate in our comprehensive benefits programs which include Health, Dental, Vision, Life/Disability, Flexible Spending Accounts and 401(k) to eligible Team Members. Depending on your hire date and any specific requirements of your work location, you may be eligible for up to 80 hours of PTO during the first calendar year of your employment, which includes paid sick leave in accordance with applicable legal requirements. \n Ashley values its diversity and is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.All employment decisions are made on the basis of an individual’s skills, qualifications, merit, and business needs. \n To learn more about Ashley Furniture, our community engagement programs, environmental stewardship, and our core values, please visit our Corporate Social Responsibility information page: Corporate Social Responsibility \n
