Work Environment

Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor, your day-to-day responsibilities will be diverse and impactful. You will:

• Facilitate Group Therapy: Lead engaging group therapy sessions that foster connection among clients and encourage mutual learning and support.
• Conduct Individual Therapy: Provide personalized, empathetic counseling, exploring clients’ emotions and behaviors, and guiding them in developing coping strategies and actionable plans.
• Create Treatment Plans: Collaborate with each client to develop individualized and goal-oriented treatment plans tailored to their unique needs and aspirations.
• Monitor Progress: Regularly assess and document client progress using established tools and feedback mechanisms, adjusting treatment strategies as necessary.
• Collaborate with Multidisciplinary Team: Work closely with psychiatric nurses, social workers, and other specialists to ensure comprehensive care, sharing insights and consulting on complex cases.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This position caters primarily to young adults aged 18 to 30 seeking outpatient services. Our clients often face a variety of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, and mood disorders. Your role is crucial in guiding these individuals through their paths to recovery and personal growth.

Qualifications

• Licensure: A valid Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) credential is required.
• Educational Background: A Bachelor’s degree in a related field is essential.

Preferred Experience

• At least 1 year of clinical experience in mental health treatment, preferably in residential or outpatient settings.
• Familiarity with telehealth platforms and virtual therapy methodologies is a plus.
