Document Management Specialist

Job Description

The Document Management Specialist is responsible for accurately processing, categorizing, and entering documents. This role is ideal for someone who is highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where accuracy and timely processing are essential.

Key Responsibilities

Document Management

• Review and categorize incoming documents in OnBase according to document type, program guidelines, and work instructions.
• Identify and escalate incomplete or urgent documents to supervisors.
• Promptly report OnBase system outages or other issues that may impact document processing.
• Communicate significant increases in document volume to supervisors to support timely processing.

Data Entry & Quality Review

• Accurately and efficiently enter information from documents.
• Review documents for missing, incomplete, or incorrect information.
• Identify and communicate recurring documentation issues or non-conforming materials.
• Follow established procedures for reporting Adverse Events and Product Complaints.
• Maintain accuracy and productivity while managing document-processing workloads.

• Ability to follow SOPs, work instructions, and established procedures consistently

Additional Qualifications

• Experience with document management, data entry, records processing, or similar administrative work
• Call center experience is a plus
• Ability to meet training and compliance deadlines
• Comfortable handling repetitive, detail-oriented work
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and workload volumes
• Willingness to take on additional tasks and projects as needed

This is a Contract position based out of Morrisville, NC.

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
