Cardiovascular Key Account Manager, WESTERN MICHIGAN

Amgen seeks a Cardiovascular Key Account Manager to develop and execute strategic plans for assigned healthcare accounts in western Michigan. The role involves building relationships with healthcare decision-makers, coordinating cross-functional teams, and driving utilization of cardiovascular products while ensuring compliance.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive account plans aligned with cardiovascular business strategy and institutional needs
- Engage clinical opinion leaders including cardiologists, pharmacy directors, and P&T committee members at assigned accounts
- Coordinate pull-through initiatives across field teams to drive utilization of approved cardiovascular products
- Monitor account performance, market dynamics, and competitive landscape; identify barriers and opportunities
- Present compliant data and messages; coordinate Amgen programs and initiatives with assigned health systems
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree with 6+ years sales or account management experience (or Master's with 4+ years, or Doctorate with 2+ years)
- 3+ years of account management and/or public payor experience strongly preferred
- Cardiology expertise including dyslipidemia, heart failure, and acute coronary syndromes highly preferred
- Knowledge of hospital committee structures, P&T processes, and hospital reimbursement systems
- Understanding of Medicare, CMS policies, and payor systems
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex stakeholder relationships
