Licensed Mental Health Counselor - Dazzle Mental Health Center (Remote, Full-Time)

Position Overview

Dazzle Mental Health Center is seeking a fully licensed Mental Health Counselor to join our compassionate team on a full-time basis. This flexible remote position allows you to provide quality therapeutic care tailored to the needs of individuals in our outpatient community. Key Responsibilities

As a Mental Health Counselor at Dazzle Mental Health Center, you will be responsible for a range of essential tasks:

• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to understand each client's mental health needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic services tailored to individuals, groups, and families, utilizing methodologies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness techniques.
• Coordinate care by collaborating seamlessly with case managers and psychiatrists to offer comprehensive support for clients’ mental health needs.
• Provide crisis intervention and immediate support to clients facing acute distress, ensuring that appropriate follow-up care is arranged.
• Participate in community outreach programs aimed at educating the public on mental health issues and reducing stigma.

Qualifications

Qualified candidates must meet the following criteria:

• Hold a current and valid license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
• Possess a master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.
• Exhibit excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a strong ability to cultivate rapport with clients.
• Showcase cultural competence and the ability to work effectively with a diverse clientele.
• Demonstrate strong organizational and time-management skills required for maintaining accurate documentation and managing a caseload efficiently.

Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, applicants with the following experiences will stand out:

• Experience in a community mental health setting or outpatient clinic.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and telehealth technologies.
• Knowledge of treatment modalities specific to trauma-informed care.

Compensation and Benefits
