Corp Location: 515 Truxton Street, Bronx, NY 10474 Salary Range: $45,000 – $52,000 annually Position Overview Victory Foodservice Dist. Corp is seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Assistant to support daily financial operations. This role is responsible for processing invoices, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring timely payments in accordance with company policies and New York State labor standards. Key Responsibilities Review, verify, and process vendor invoices in a timely manner Perform 2-way and 3-way matching of invoices, purchase orders, and receiving documents Code invoices to appropriate general ledger accounts Prepare and assist with weekly check runs, ACH, and wire payments Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies Maintain accurate and organized accounts payable records Respond to vendor inquiries regarding payment status Assist with month-end closing tasks, including accruals and reporting Ensure compliance with internal controls and audit requirements Qualifications Minimum 2+ years of accounts payable experience Strong understanding of basic accounting principles Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) Experience with accounting/ERP systems preferred High attention to detail and accuracy Strong organizational and time management skills Ability to work independently and meet deadlines This position complies with applicable New York State labor laws , including wage transparency requirements Equal Opportunity Employer.
