Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed assessments to evaluate clients' mental health histories and tailor appropriate treatment approaches.

• Develop, implement, and regularly update individualized treatment plans focused on trauma recovery and resilience-building.
\n
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to facilitate clients' healing journeys.

• Deliver both individual and group therapy sessions that enable clients to process traumatic experiences and develop effective coping strategies.
\n
• Work collaboratively with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to create an integrated care plan, ensuring the best outcomes for patients.
\n
• Respond promptly during trauma-related emergencies, providing crisis intervention and necessary support.
\n
• Educate clients and their families about trauma responses, coping mechanisms, resources available, and promote community involvement.
\n
• Maintain accurate and confidential records in accordance with legal and ethical standards using electronic health record (EHR) systems.

• Participate in team meetings, case consultations, and professional development activities centered around trauma-informed care.

• Stay current on the latest research in trauma therapy and mental health best practices, ensuring high-quality patient care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our client population consists primarily of individuals affected by trauma, including those experiencing anxiety, depression, and stress-related disorders. Our counselors provide essential support to clients of varying ages, including children, adolescents, and adults, fostering an inclusive environment that emphasizes healing, understanding, and long-term resilience.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution is required.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Oregon.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, coupled with a compassionate and non-judgmental approach to patient care.

Compensation and Benefits\n
