Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Mental Health Therapist, you will:

• Conduct thorough assessments to determine the unique needs of each client, utilizing various assessment tools and methodologies to establish a clear understanding of their circumstances.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that align with clients' goals, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic techniques tailored to their specific challenges.
• Provide counseling services to individuals, couples, and families, while integrating a holistic approach that considers emotional, psychological, and social factors that impact mental health.
• Regularly monitor and evaluate client progress, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans to respond to changing situations and therapeutic needs.
• Maintain meticulous records of client interactions and progress, ensuring timely updates that comply with ethical and legal standards, utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members, including psychiatrists, social workers, and other mental health professionals, to coordinate integrated care for clients.
• Adhere to all relevant ethical guidelines and legal regulations, ensuring the highest standard of care is maintained throughout all client engagements.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on clients experiencing maternal mental health issues, including postpartum depression, anxiety, and related conditions. You will work with a diverse client base that includes not only new mothers but also their partners and families, addressing the varied emotional experiences that accompany the transition to parenthood.

Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you should possess:

• A Master’s degree or higher in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a closely related field.
• Current licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), or Licensed Psychologist (PsyD) in the state of Washington.
• At least 2 years of relevant therapeutic experience, preferably with a focus on maternal mental health.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, allowing you to foster strong therapeutic alliances and convey complex concepts in an accessible manner.
• The ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team-focused environment.
• An understanding of and commitment to utilizing evidence-based practices in mental health care.

Preferred Experience

Exposure to evidence-based therapies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), or EMDR is highly desirable. Experience working in outpatient settings and familiarity with electronic health record systems will enhance your effectiveness in this role.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $80,000 to $104,000 yearly, reflective of your experience and qualifications. Our comprehensive benefits package includes:
