Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to identify co-occurring disorders, ensuring each client's treatment plan addresses their unique therapeutic needs.
• Develop and implement individualized, evidence-based treatment plans that align with clients' goals, utilizing appropriate therapeutic techniques and documented progress in our electronic health record system.
• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions focused on addiction treatment, trauma resolution, and addressing underlying mental health conditions.
• Continuously monitor and evaluate clients' progress, making informed adjustments to treatment strategies as necessary to support their recovery journeys.
• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, social workers, and addiction counselors, to provide integrated care that meets the complex needs of our client base.
• Educate clients and their families about mental health concepts, addiction recovery principles, and coping strategies to empower them in their healing process.
• Safeguard client confidentiality and comply with all legal and ethical standards in maintaining accurate and secure client records.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Solace of Life, you will primarily work with diverse clients navigating substance use disorders and overlapping mental health issues. You will be instrumental in creating a safe space where individuals can express their challenges and explore their paths to recovery, engaging them in meaningful dialogue and therapeutic interventions.

Qualifications

• A Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution or university.
• A valid Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) license.
• At least three years of recent experience providing mental health support in a clinical setting, with a focus on addiction care being highly desirable.

Preferred Experience

• Additional training or certification in rehabilitation mental health is a plus.
• Experience with group therapy facilitation and using evidence-based practices tailored to clients' unique cultural contexts.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 70,000 to 100,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
