Work Environment

This position is entirely remote, allowing you the flexibility to work from the comfort of your own home while still engaging with a highly collaborative team. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments to identify clients' needs and develop tailored treatment plans; for example, performing initial intake interviews and follow-up evaluations to track progress.
• Utilize a range of therapeutic techniques, including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), to facilitate client healing. Your skilled interventions will guide clients through their therapeutic journeys.
• Maintain diligent and accurate clinical records, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA regulations. Your meticulous record-keeping is vital for tracking treatment efficacy and client safety.
• Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, coordinating with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other professionals to provide holistic care that addresses the complex needs of our clients.
• Participate in regular case consultations and peer review sessions, fostering a culture of learning and continuous improvement in therapeutic practices.
• Educate clients and their families about mental health conditions, empowering them to navigate resources and make informed decisions about their care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clinic serves a broad array of clients, including individuals facing anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship challenges. As a counselor, you will engage with clients in both individual and group settings, facilitating an inclusive environment that recognizes each person’s unique experiences and cultural backgrounds. Qualifications

• A Master’s degree or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• An active license to practice in Washington State as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
• Minimum of three years of relevant clinical experience, demonstrating a solid foundation in mental health counseling practices.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to forge strong therapeutic relationships with clients and their support systems.

Preferred Experience

• Familiarity with telehealth platforms and remote counseling practices, ensuring seamless service delivery in a virtual environment.
