Work Environment

This position is fully remote, allowing flexibility and convenience for both our counselors and clients. While you will work from home, you will remain integrated within our team via regular virtual meetings and communication channels. Our facilities have a strong outpatient focus, meaning you will engage primarily with clients seeking therapy for various mental health concerns, with ongoing support for their recovery and growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct initial assessments and evaluations to determine clients' mental health statuses and needs.
• Design and implement individualized therapy plans, considering each client’s unique circumstances and backgrounds.
• Provide ongoing therapy sessions, employing evidence-based therapeutic techniques to assist clients in managing conditions such as depression, anxiety, and substance use disorders.
• Facilitate group therapy sessions, encouraging peer support and fostering a sense of community among participants.
• Regularly monitor and document client progress in electronic health record systems to ensure continuity of care and compliance with regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and allied health professionals, to provide coordinated and effective care.
• Refer clients to additional resources and care as necessary, ensuring holistic support that encompasses medical, social, and community-based services.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our counselors engage with a varied clientele, including individuals dealing with mental health disorders, addiction issues, trauma, and relationship challenges. You will also play a crucial role in promoting mental health awareness and advocating for the needs of underrepresented populations.

Qualifications

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid state licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or similar credentials.
• A minimum of four years of relevant clinical experience in a mental health setting.
• In-depth knowledge of mental health disorders, evidence-based treatment modalities, and proven methods for delivering culturally sensitive therapy.

Preferred Experience

• Experience providing therapy via telehealth platforms, ensuring accessibility and convenience for clients in various settings.
• Expertise in crisis intervention techniques and the ability to manage high-stress situations with composure.
• Strong organizational skills, with experience in maintaining comprehensive patient records using electronic health record (EHR) systems.
• Proficiency in both individual and group therapy settings, with a commitment to creating inclusive environments that honor client diversity.

Compensation and Benefits
