Work Environment

As part of our team, you will primarily work remotely utilizing telehealth technology, which enables you to deliver care from the comfort of your own home. While telehealth is a primary mode of operation, our office in San Diego remains a hub of collaboration, where you can engage with peers, participate in team meetings, and benefit from a network of multi-disciplinary professionals.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to accurately determine clients’ mental health needs, crafting personalized and effective treatment plans tailored to individual circumstances.
• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic services to individuals, groups, and families, utilizing various methodologies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and solution-focused approaches to address diverse mental health issues.
• Collaborate with case managers, psychiatrists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure a coordinated and integrated care approach, enhancing the overall effectiveness of treatment.
• Provide crisis intervention and support for clients in acute distress, demonstrating compassion and expertise in handling urgent situations effectively.
• Participate in community outreach programs and educational initiatives aimed at raising mental health awareness and reducing stigma associated with mental health issues.

Patient Population / Client Focus

We serve a broad spectrum of clients, including children, adolescents, adults, and families who represent a variety of ethnic, cultural, and socioeconomic backgrounds. Qualifications

• Possession of an active and independent license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or a Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).
• A completed master's degree or equivalent in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology is required.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to build rapport and foster therapeutic relationships with clients from diverse backgrounds.
• Strong organizational and time-management capabilities to ensure efficient management of caseloads and timely documentation.
• Cultural sensitivity and competence to effectively engage with individuals from various ethnic and socioeconomic backgrounds.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working in community mental health settings or agencies, particularly with diverse populations.
• Knowledge of telehealth systems and best practices in delivering virtual therapy sessions.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems for documentation and case management.
• Demonstrated involvement in mental health advocacy or community outreach initiatives.

Compensation and Benefits

Our competitive salary range of $70,000 to $100,000 per year is commensurate with experience and credentials. In addition, we provide a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
