Key Responsibilities

As a Mental Health Counselor, your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough assessments to understand clients' mental health needs and histories.
• Developing individualized treatment plans that align with clients' goals and therapeutic needs.
• Providing evidence-based individual therapy using various modalities—such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), or other appropriate techniques.
• Establishing clear therapeutic goals with clients and regularly monitoring their progress to ensure effective outcomes.
• Offering teletherapy sessions, accommodating clients who may face barriers to in-person visits.
• Maintaining timely and accurate documentation and records while adhering to ethical and organizational standards.
• Participating in ongoing professional development to stay abreast of best practices in mental health counseling.

Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you must possess:

• A current and valid state license as one of the following: LMFT, LPC/MHSP, LPC, or LCSW.
• A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, while a Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology is preferred.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills that foster client engagement and rapport.
• Empathy, understanding, and a non-judgmental attitude essential for effective patient interactions.
• Strong organizational, time management, and documentation skills to support client care.

Preferred Experience

Ideal candidates will have previous experience working in a clinical setting, particularly with individuals facing trauma, anxiety, and depression. Proficiency in teletherapy and familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems will be considered an asset as we continue to enhance the convenience and quality of care we provide.

Compensation and Benefits
