Key Responsibilities

• Deliver mindfulness-based Stress Reduction (MBSR) interventions to a diverse clientele, allowing individuals to experience reduced stress and improved emotional well-being.
• Conduct comprehensive initial assessments to uncover clients’ unique challenges, stressors, and therapeutic goals, crafting specialized mindfulness strategies tailored to their needs.
• Lead clients through mindfulness exercises, including guided meditations and respiratory techniques, fostering self-awareness and emotional regulation.
• Facilitate group workshops and classes centered on mindfulness techniques and stress management skills.
• Augment individual therapy sessions by effectively integrating mindfulness practices to address specific mental health issues and promote holistic client growth.
• Collaborate with fellow therapists and healthcare practitioners to ensure a cohesive approach in treatment, incorporating mindfulness seamlessly across various therapeutic activities.
• Maintain accurate documentation of client progress, treatment plans, and mindfulness intervention implementations to uphold compliance and facilitate ongoing evaluation.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

• Current licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Tennessee is mandatory.
• Possession of or extensive training in Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) is a strong advantage.

Preferred Experience
