Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate client needs and formulate appropriate treatment plans tailored to their unique situations.
• Offer individual, family, marriage, and group counseling sessions, employing evidence-based approaches to foster client engagement and facilitate positive outcomes.
• Implement mental health screenings and interventions to identify and address various treatment requirements promptly.
• Establish trusting and therapeutic relationships with clients, creating a safe space for open communication and emotional exploration.
• Actively listen to clients’ concerns and aspirations, continually assessing their progress and refining treatment strategies as necessary.
• Document therapy sessions and progress notes meticulously, ensuring compliance with ethical standards and regulations.
• Participate in team meetings and collaborations, contributing insights from your therapeutic practice while supporting co-workers through shared knowledge and experience.
• Engage in additional tasks related to the clinic's operations as assigned, demonstrating adaptability and willingness to contribute to the team's success.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your expertise will be instrumental in supporting a broad spectrum of clients facing mental and behavioral health challenges, such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and co-occurring disorders. You will facilitate recovery not only through individual therapy but also through nurturing family dynamics and enhancing overall community wellness.

Qualifications

• Must possess a Master’s or Doctoral degree in Marriage and Family Therapy (LMFT), Mental Health Counseling (LMHC), or Social Work (LICSW).
• Must have an active, unrestricted license as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Social Worker (LICSW) within the state of Washington.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of professional experience working with individuals facing mental health challenges, such as group therapy and treatment for substance abuse.
• Demonstrated expertise in various counseling techniques, therapeutic models, and a thorough understanding of current best practices in mental health care.
• Familiarity with trauma-informed care principles, providing a holistic approach to treating clients.

Compensation and Benefits
