Work Environment

This position is primarily remote, allowing flexibility in your work schedule while still engaging with colleagues in a supportive outpatient office environment. The standard working hours are Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, though some flexibility may be needed to accommodate patient schedules. As a member of our collaborative team, you will connect with other professionals in the field to enhance the quality and continuity of care provided to patients.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough, culturally sensitive assessments of each patient to identify mental health needs and formulate personalized treatment plans.
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, adapting approaches to align with each patient's cultural and personal backgrounds, whether through individual, family, or group therapy sessions.
• Offer immediate support and crisis intervention in mental health emergencies, demonstrating strong crisis management skills and maintaining composure in high-pressure situations.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and psychologists, to ensure comprehensive care and integration of treatment strategies across disciplines.
• Educate patients and their families on mental health disorders, treatment modalities, and available resources to empower them on their journey to recovery.
• Maintain accurate, confidential documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards through an electronic health record (EHR) system.
• Engage in ongoing training opportunities to strengthen your cultural competence and keep abreast of current research and best practices in mental health.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will engage with a diverse patient population at Silver Lining Therapies. Your expertise will play a crucial role in guiding and supporting these individuals, helping them navigate their unique challenges and celebrating their unique identities.

Qualifications

• A Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• A current and valid license as an LCSW, LCPC, or LMFT in the state of Illinois.
• Proven knowledge of mental health disorders, evidence-based treatment modalities, and effective culturally-responsive therapy practices.
• Demonstrated experience providing individual and group therapy, with a strong emphasis on inclusivity and cultural awareness.
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with a wide range of clients.
• Proficiency in utilizing electronic health record systems and related digital tools.
• A steadfast commitment to maintaining ethical guidelines, professional boundaries, and the confidentiality of patients.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
