Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations of clients’ mental health needs, ensuring the development of personalized and effective treatment plans.
• Provide evidence-based individual therapies, utilizing a variety of therapeutic modalities that align with clients' specific issues, such as trauma, anxiety, and depressive disorders.
• Establish and revisit therapeutic goals collaboratively with clients, actively measuring progress and adapting strategies as necessary to ensure positive outcomes.
• Utilize teletherapy tools and platforms efficiently to conduct virtual sessions, maintaining a high standard of care for clients in various circumstances.
• Monitor and document all client interactions accurately and timely in compliance with ethical and regulatory standards, ensuring the integrity of client information.
• Participate in ongoing professional development, accessing training and resources to continuously improve your clinical skills and knowledge of best practices in mental health care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on serving clients through telehealth, catering to individuals who may face barriers to accessing in-person therapy due to geographical, physical, or emotional constraints. You will engage with a diverse client base, addressing various mental health challenges with empathy, respect, and professionalism.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current and valid license in Illinois as either a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or possess a Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).
• A Master’s degree or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology is required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to establish a trusting therapeutic relationship with clients, fostering a safe environment for healing.
• Demonstrated capacity for empathy and a non-judgmental approach toward clients' diverse experiences and challenges.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills to maintain effective caseload management and streamline administrative responsibilities.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working in telehealth settings or familiarity with virtual therapy tools and technologies is highly desirable.
• Strong background in various therapeutic modalities and experience working with individuals experiencing trauma, anxiety, depression, and other mental health issues.
• A proven record of effective teamwork in a clinical setting, emphasizing collaboration and continuous feedback.
