Key Qualifications:

• Valid certification as a Special Education Teacher
• CSI certification (required)
• Previous experience working in special education settings, preferably school-based or center-based
• Strong understanding of IEP development and individualized instruction
• Excellent communication and collaborative skills with students, families, and staff
• Ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet diverse student needs

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality instruction, tailored to each student’s unique learning plan
• Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Collaborate closely with paraprofessionals, therapists, parents, and administration
• Employ data-driven strategies to assess and track student progress
• Manage classroom behavior and create a supportive, positive environment for learning
• Participate in professional meetings, training, and ongoing development
