Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Current certification as a Special Education Teacher
- CSI certification required
- Proven experience working within a center-based, special education environment
- Strong understanding of IEP development and implementation
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with parents, therapists, and staff
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and adapt lesson plans tailored to individual student abilities and goals
- Implement IEPs in compliance with state and federal guidelines
- Foster a supportive, structured, and engaging classroom atmosphere
- Track and document students’ progress, modifying interventions as needed
- Partner with families and multidisciplinary teams to promote student success
- Utilize evidence-based strategies and classroom technology for effective instruction
