Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations for individuals, couples, and families seeking outpatient therapy, establishing a clear understanding of their unique needs.

• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that outline measurable goals and strategies tailored to each client’s specific situation.

• Utilize evidence-based practices and therapeutic techniques to help clients improve communication patterns, address family dynamics, and enhance their emotional well-being. For example, you may employ techniques from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), attachment theory, or solution-focused therapy.

• Provide immediate support in crisis situations, facilitating interventions that safeguard the mental health and safety of clients and their loved ones.

• Maintain meticulous, confidential client records, including progress notes, treatment plans, and assessments, while adhering to all legal and ethical requirements.

• Educate clients about relationship-building techniques and coping strategies, empowering them to take proactive steps toward enhanced mental health.

• Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team, including psychologists, social workers, and medical professionals, to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our clients encompass a wide range of backgrounds and challenges. You will work with individuals and families dealing with issues such as relationship stress, mental health disorders, trauma, addiction, and life transitions. Your sensitivity and understanding will be critical in helping them find their path to healing and restoration.

Qualifications\n

• Current licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Illinois.

• A Master’s degree or higher in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field.

• A minimum of one year of clinical experience as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist.

• Demonstrated ability to establish rapport and connect with clients from various walks of life with diverse needs and backgrounds.

• Strong interpersonal skills that demonstrate your ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.

• Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and ethical practice within a therapeutic setting.

• Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience in outpatient therapy services is strongly preferred.
