Director of Business Development

Working with leading corporations, investors, and professional services firms, they deliver insight that helps clients manage risk and identify opportunities with confidence. With an international presence and an ambitious growth strategy, the business continues to expand its commercial team to support increasing client demand. Role : Identify and develop new business opportunities. Build and maintain strong client relationships. Engage with prospective and existing clients to understand their needs. Grow existing accounts and re-engage former clients. Manage client relationships throughout project delivery. Work closely with internal teams to ensure a high-quality client experience. Contribute to business growth and strategic development. Previous Experience & Background : 10-15 years of experience within financial services, capital markets, investment banking, corporate banking, advisory, or a related institutional environment. Proven track record of originating and developing senior-level client relationships and generating new business opportunities. Experience operating at Director, Managing Director, Partner, or equivalent senior leadership level. Established network of relationships across corporates, financial institutions, private equity firms, investors, or other institutional stakeholders. Demonstrable experience engaging with C-suite executives, boards, and senior decision-makers. Strong commercial acumen with a history of identifying opportunities, building trusted partnerships, and converting relationships into revenue. Experience representing a firm externally and acting as a senior market-facing leader. Ability to operate independently, develop a market strategy, and drive growth within a defined territory. Full US Citizen or Perm Resident. Preferred Backgrounds : Candidates may come from: Investment banking coverage teams. Corporate banking or relationship management roles. Capital markets organisations. Financial advisory firms. Exchanges, fintech, or institutional financial services businesses.
