Work Environment

This role will take place in patients' homes, allowing for a personalized and comfortable setting that promotes engagement in the rehabilitation process. The work schedule is flexible, primarily from Monday to Friday, allowing you to choose hours that work best for you. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients' physical capabilities to develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on their specific needs and conditions.
• Utilize a variety of treatment methods, including exercise therapy, manual therapy techniques, and modalities such as ultrasound or electrical stimulation, to alleviate pain and improve mobility.
• Document patient progress meticulously, tracking outcomes and making necessary adjustments to treatment plans as required.
• Educate patients and their families on proper home exercise programs, as well as how to use assistive devices effectively, ensuring safety and promoting independence.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to other health care team members, caregivers, and family members regarding the physical therapy process and treatment protocols.
• Stay up-to-date with best practices and emerging therapies by participating in continuing education courses and professional societies.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with a diverse clientele, ranging from children to seniors, each with unique challenges and rehabilitation goals. Whether assisting an elderly patient recovering from hip surgery or helping a child with developmental delays, your role is essential in supporting these individuals through their recovery journey and enhancing their daily lives.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Current license to practice Physical Therapy in the state of Florida.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and multidisciplinary team members.
• Familiarity with electronic health records and basic computer skills.
• Current CPR Certification to ensure the safety of all patients.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of professional experience in a clinical or home care setting is required.
• Experience working with a diverse patient population, including pediatrics and geriatrics.
• A Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) is preferred, enhancing your technical expertise and professional opportunities.

Compensation and Benefits
