Work Environment

This full-time position requires therapists to work onsite in clients' homes throughout the Cape Coral area. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients in their home environment, assessing physical abilities, mobility, and rehabilitation needs.
• Design and implement individualized treatment plans incorporating evidence-based therapeutic methods, exercise regimens, and hands-on techniques to enhance mobility and reduce pain.
• Utilize various modalities, including manual therapy and specialized equipment, to address patient-specific challenges and optimize outcomes.
• Continuously monitor patient progress, documenting treatments, responses, and adjustments to care plans as needed, ensuring all records are up to date.
• Educate patients and their families on relevant physical therapy procedures, therapeutic tools, and assistive devices essential for successful rehabilitation.
• Maintain professional development through attending workshops, engaging in continuing education, and contributing to professional societies.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary medical teams to provide holistic care strategies that align with the health and recovery goals of our patients.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

• Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid DPT license in the state of Florida.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, enabling effective interaction with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
• Proficiency with computer systems for documentation and reporting.
• Highly flexible and adaptable to changing patient needs and environments.
• Commitment to delivering compassionate and effective care that prioritizes patient outcomes.

Preferred Experience

• At least 2 years of experience as a Physical Therapist, ideally within a home care or outpatient setting.
• Experience in treating a varied patient population, particularly with rehabilitation after surgery or injury.
