The typical schedule runs Monday through Friday, making this a desirable position for those looking to maintain a structured routine.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients in their home environment to evaluate their physical abilities and needs.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques—such as therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and advanced modalities—to help alleviate pain and enhance mobility.
• Continuously monitor patient progress, documenting responses to treatment in accordance with regulatory standards, and adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Educate patients and their families about their conditions, treatment options, and self-care strategies to facilitate ongoing recovery outside of therapy sessions.
• Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary healthcare teams, including physicians and occupational therapists, to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Stay updated with the latest in physical therapy practices through ongoing professional development, including attending workshops and seminars.
• Provide training and support for the use of assistive devices and equipment that patients may require for daily living and ambulation.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required, along with a valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist in Florida.

• Proficiency in using computer software for documentation and patient management.
• Flexibility and adaptability are crucial in meeting the diverse needs of our patients.
• New graduates are welcomed to apply, as prior work experience is not mandated.

Preferred Experience

• At least two years of experience in a clinical setting focused on physical therapy is preferred.
• Experience in home health care or community-based therapy services is advantageous.
