Work Environment

This position is set in a home care environment, allowing for a personalized approach to therapy and rehabilitation. Being onsite at patients' homes not only facilitates convenience for our clients but also fosters meaningful relationships between therapists and patients. You will have the flexibility to design your own schedule, typically working Monday to Friday, which allows for a balanced work-life integration.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients in their homes, assessing their needs and establishing treatment goals.
• Create and implement individualized treatment plans utilizing a range of therapeutic techniques, including exercise regimens, hands-on therapy, and innovative equipment designed to alleviate pain and enhance mobility.
• Document all treatment sessions meticulously, tracking patient progress and adjusting therapeutic goals as necessary in collaboration with each patient.
• Train patients and their families on the best use of assistive devices, promoting greater independence in daily activities.
• Engage in ongoing professional development to keep abreast of the latest advancements in physical therapy treatments and best practices.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care, ensuring optimal patient outcomes and enhancing the overall health care experience.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work predominantly with adult patients who are recovering from surgeries, injuries, or managing chronic conditions. Your approach will be tailored to address varying levels of mobility and rehabilitation needs, ensuring each individual receives a treatment plan personalized to their goals and lifestyle. Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy is required; a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is highly preferred.
• Valid Florida Physical Therapy license is essential.

• Proficiency in computer skills, including word processing and electronic health record management.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and adapt to the varying needs of patients in their home settings.
• A proactive and flexible approach to problem-solving and patient care.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of two years of experience as a Physical Therapist is preferred but not mandatory.
• Experience in home health therapy, geriatric populations, and mentorship of new graduates is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits
