Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments of mental health needs through comprehensive interviews, psychological evaluations, and structured assessments to determine individualized treatment plans.

• Provide short-term individual therapy and crisis intervention services via telehealth to support patients experiencing a wide variety of concerns, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues.

• Develop and facilitate engaging therapy groups and workshops focused on relevant topics such as coping strategies, emotional regulation, and personal development, designed to empower patients and encourage peer support.

• Collaborate effectively with various community health stakeholders, including medical teams, case managers, and outside organizations, to coordinate care and ensure patients receive a continuum of support.

• Engage in community outreach and preventive initiatives aimed at increasing mental health awareness and reducing stigma, including virtual workshops and webinars.

• Maintain accurate and confidential patient records in line with HIPAA regulations and ethical standards, utilizing our Electronic Health Record (EHR) system efficiently.

Qualifications\n

• A valid and active state license as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Psychologist.

• A Bachelor’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field; a Master’s or Doctoral degree is preferred.

• Strong understanding of the challenges faced by patients in community health settings and familiarity with trauma-informed care practices.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills that foster effective engagement with patients and colleagues from diverse backgrounds.

• Knowledge of evidence-based therapeutic practices and brief intervention models suited for short-term counseling.

• A proven ability to adapt to changing circumstances and manage a varied caseload, prioritizing tasks to meet patient needs effectively.

Compensation and Benefits\n

Greenford Valley Consultation and Counseling Center offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 115,000 to 130,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
