Business Development Officer

The Business Development Officer serves as a key ambassador for Financial Partners Credit Union within our Select Employer Groups (SEGs) . This role is focused on developing and strengthening employer partnerships, engaging employees through onsite events and financial wellness opportunities, identifying new business opportunities, and driving membership growth.

Through proactive outreach, relationship management, presentations, and employee engagement, the Business Development Officer helps position Financial Partners as the trusted Financial Partner at Work .

This is an active, relationship-driven role where no two days look exactly the same. One day may include meeting with an HR or benefits leader to develop a new partnership, while another may include hosting an onsite employee engagement, attending an open enrollment or benefits fair, welcoming employees at a new-hire orientation, or delivering a financial wellness seminar.

Key Responsibilities

• Represent the Financial Partners Brand: Serve as a professional and engaging ambassador for FPCU within our Select Employer Groups, creating positive experiences that strengthen our employer relationships and brand presence.
• Build & Grow SEG Relationships: Develop strong relationships with HR and benefits leaders, key decision-makers, and employees while identifying opportunities to deepen existing partnerships.
• Develop New Employer Partnerships: Prospect and build relationships with potential Select Employer Groups, communicating the value of an FPCU partnership and developing opportunities from initial outreach through enrollment.
• Bring Financial Partners to the Workplace: Represent FPCU at employer worksites, benefits fairs, new-hire orientations, open enrollments, employee engagement events, and financial wellness seminars.
• Engage & Educate Employees: Create meaningful financial conversations and connect employees with products, services, education, and resources that support their financial goals.
• Turn Relationships Into Results: Drive measurable growth through new memberships, qualified referrals, lending and deposit opportunities, and increased engagement within our SEG partnerships.
• Deliver Engaging Presentations: Lead financial wellness seminars, employee presentations, and employer partnership meetings with confidence and professionalism.
• Collaborate Across FPCU: Partner with branches, Marketing, lending teams, and other internal partners to support SEG relationships, coordinate successful events, provide warm handoffs, and deliver a consistent Financial Partners experience.

The pay range for this position is listed above. For this role, the range reflects base pay only. This position will also be eligible for additional incentive payments based on performance. Our pay ranges are designed to allow for candidates with various levels of experience and skill to be considered, and to allow room for growth to be achieved in a role over time. Generally, new hire salary offers fall within the minimum to midpoint of a pay range for many candidates. Any offer extended to a candidate will be based upon their individual combination of experience, knowledge, skills, and education as well as internal equity.
